Shingles after renal transplant

Hi.. All

I'm 1 yr post renal transplant now i have got shingles ie. Herpes zoster I'm on acivir 800mg but i want to know am i contagious to others as its just one painful rash approx one inch. And is it treatable when on immunosuppressive drugs? Pls d

I read azathioprine is an immunomodulator. This means it is not immunosuppression? What is the difference?

Do you have to take prograf in equally divided doses?

Hi. Do you have to take prograf in equally divided doses? For example can you take 2 mg morning and 1 mg night or you have to take 1.5 mg and 1.5 mg am pm?

Hi everyone.

Anyone taking more than 10 mg of prednisolone long term? How are you coping with side effects and why are you taking long term? I have been put on 20 mg since 4 months for rejection.

Hi,

I am 5 yrs post kidney transplant (thanking God) and I have now had 2 separate episodes of vomiing/dirreahea ( 1 week apart).... my question is, " what happens to the pills as apparantely I vomited them up also?)

Cannabis use - Kidney Transplant

Does anyone have any information on Cannabis use while taking immunosuppressants?  I think it would be very good for anxiety as long as it would not interfere with the drugs.  I am on Myfortic and Cyclosporine.

Bloated stomach
