Cardiac Ablation

It looks like I will need an ablation to treat Atrial Fibrillation. It's infrequent but the medications are not helping as we hoped. My Cardiologist (Electrophysiologist):is great, has done thousands of them, reviews are great. I feel confident with  his skill.

Curious if anyone has ever had an Ablation and your thoughts.

Thank you and be safe!

Tina

  • My brother-in-law had this op about a decade ago and after a brief recovery, he is quite healthy and active ever since, though he is routinely monitored thereafter. Having confidence in your doctor should make the procedure less stressful. Please accept my best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery back to health!

I am so happy to hear  that your brother in law has done so well with his ablation. I'ts encouraging andm I'mhopeful I will do good too. I have to admit that I am scared and nervous about it.

I, as many big us, have gone through a lot off things relating to our transplant. I look at this as another bump in the road I need to get over and move forward.

Again, thank you for replying and your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot!

      Wishing you all the best.

      God Bless, Tina
