  • I was told it is better to take them at least one hour a part from one another.

  • I did - and that was how I was instructed by my Tx team.  And I too take at 12 hour intervals.  Also important to time your night does with when you will be having blood tests (ideally 11.5 hours) especially for Tacro.

Tx team should be able to tell you how they want your dosing regimen.

    • Thank you for replying. I am 9 months post kidney and liver.

      • I am 2 years post Liver Tx, and have CKD. (And just got off Heart Tx list)  Due to my complications I was in hospital off and on for about a year out of two years - and at least in the hospital all my Tx dosing was done at once.  I am now on single agent Tac so no issue.

  • Hello, Yessenia - I take them all together as I was instructed to do so by my nephrologist. I take my medications at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., or as close to that as I can get.  However, I only take the prednisone in the a.m.  If you have any doubts on whether or not to take them all at the same time, just ask your doctor or his nurse.  Or the transplant team at the hospital.  They should always be willing to answer your questions...at least I would hope so.

    • I willl ask them next time I see them. Thank you for replying. I also take prednisone only once daily.
