Liver transplant

Hi all this is my first time posting on the forum. I had a superurgent liver transplant on the 17th Dec 2016 with a lot of complications such as a haematoma near my gallbladder and numerous trips back to hospital with infections. I have been in so much pain until 2 weeks ago when it finally settled down and I started feeling so much better but yesterday morning I started getting really sore again and now I can hardly move because of it. Does this happen?

  • From the description of your soreness, I would consult my doctor.

I was lucky in not having a lot of pain, but I had mild soreness that recurred especially after activity.  The activity that made the soreness return may not have been vigorous, but it still returned.  It was over six months before the soreness left entirely.
