  • Let us hope this was a momentary aberration that does not carry through to your next set of labs! When are you due to repeat your blood work, make sure you are fully hydrated.

    • Kidneyboy, we did the labs and it came out the same. I had a kidney biopsy and we are waiting for the results.

      • Waiting is the hardest part of this process. In the absence of hard facts, our minds are left open to invent our own hell of possibilities.  Trying to stay calm as the Tx team formulates a plan of care is essential. 

        There are developing technologies to replace this traumatic procedure, with blood testing, however, presently the biopsy IS the only decisive way to determine what is really happening with the Tx. 

        You will get past this event and surpassing it builds emotional strength and armor to deal with this "rollercoaster" of life with a tx. I hope you return to better health soon. Please keep us posted!
