UCLA is meeting with their transplant team and others to say yeah or nay whether I qualify for a lung transplant. Before they can meet Thursday they requested a CD of my last Echocardiogram and CD of may last CT scan plus schedule a spirometry. CD's have been sent. My spirometry will happen this coming Tuesday the Tuesday.
The UCLA doctor we saw on Thursday didn't know right off if my APS (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, bllod clotting disorder) and Mgus (monoglonal gammapathy) would be a problem. In addition I have severe emphysema and he agreed if I get pneumonia one more time I am a goner. .
Fred (husband) and I were quite impressed with their procedures and their head Coordinator Jay Onga.
I have been praying fervently UCLA gives the go ahead.
Hugs to all
