Hello, my father, 70 year old living in Israel, is badly ill with IPF. Barely can make any effort, uses oxygen for most of the day time. A steap decrease in the last months.

He now makes all the tests required for entering the waiting list of lungs transplantion, which is the last hope. The procedure is too long! I afraid there is no enough time left.

Blood type: O.

Almost never smoked cigarretes.

Apart from the illness I think all his body works well, including the heart.

My question: what are the options for lungs transplant? as a private patient (since he has no any citizenship but Israeli), is there a place in the world which can do it safe and legal? USA, UK? anywhere?

Another question: does medicine canabis can help?

I would be greatful to get any information,

Thx,

Yoav
