  • Hi every one,

Im 14 months post liver transplantant. Done tx. in Croatia, Merkur hospital, due PSC. Im 35 yrs. Until now everithing was great, i got marryed 2 months post tx, go for honeymoon, and live life again normal. In last two months my ulcerative collitis worsned, and in last month my alt ast started to rise, now alt is 150, ast 80, alp rised to 145, and ggt 68 yesterday, Crp - > 6.5.  They are thinking about recurrent primary sclerosis cholangitis. This will be very quickly, usualy about 15% people expirience this in 5 yrs follow up.

Is anybody with PSC here, what are your expirience?

    Thank everybody, and take care.

    Lovre

  • Hello everyone I am new to this sight. In May of this year I will be 20 years out from Liver transplant.Had my transplant at UAB in Birmingham Alabama. My GGT level is running high like 380.Had a MRI done on friday now waiting to see what is causes it to run high.Has anyone else had this problem. This is my first post. But been reading post from others.Hope all is doing well.Thank you

    • Mine has been elevating for about 4 months. Saw the transplant team last week. The doctor stated they are not concerned with the elevated GGT because it is an hypersentive emezyne. Congrads for being 20 years out of liver transplant.

      • Thank you how high was your GGT level and Alkaline when they told you that.

        • My AlKaline has been normal. I have labs every other Monday. My GGT last week was 212 but my other labs are within normal range. I think that is why they are not too concerned.

      • They didnt send you for any kind of test.

  • Hi I am new and I'm so glad to have found this site.  I have so many questions that I feel only pre and post transplant patients would understand.  I'll start with this, has anyone else experienced, what I call, out of body experiences from ascietes(s)? For example I had many, but I thought I had been to a cousins wedding in Miami and this was my reality.  I really believed I was there.  In another I thought I was on a cruise ship with a bunch of people waiting for transplants and there was something about 100 days before you were eligible.  For some reason this brought back memories of a very painful time in my life when my best friend died suddenly after being kick by her horse.  Anyway, everytime this happened it was my reality, I believed all of these things happened to me.  It was very weird and I went in and out of this without even knowing.  My husband told me when people would come to visit I'd be telling them these crazy stories and he'd be standing behind me nodding his head no.  People must have thought I was crazy.  So glad that is all behind me.  The other thing that happened at that time that I am just beginning to realize, I have big blocks of time last fall, before I was hospitalized in December, that I have absolutely no recollection of.  Anyone else?
