  • Happy Birthday Jay

Wishing you joy, wonderful health, and happiness for my special friend.

  • Jay I finished the hustle and bustle by way of my daughter....she hit the stores Sunday morning, with four wheel drive if needed, before the parking lots in CT were cleared of the ice and snow from Saturday. Picked up the remaining gifts and the wrapping paper.

Now off to the doctor at Yale today for PFT and check-in and up with primary doc for lungs. Oh and bloodwork, no appt. goes without at least one stick.

    Have a good day.

  • Thanx jay for the tips.a lil about me.I was exposrd to silica dust in march of `11.Six months later i was having trouble breathing. They said asthma.Had a metholine challenge with no response. My cts are clear.Pft`s are still high like 95 % fev1,85% dlco though they are down from baseline.I feel certain i have silicosis, bronch lavage said acute inflammation.I do have some allergies to dust mites, candida and other molds.very frustrated with no solid diagnosis.I have another pft on the 29th to see if I'm down farther from baseline.
  • Hey jay.I'm finding it difficult to navigate the site.but i would like to hear more about your story.also to talk about where i am with my issues.any tips for this site.
  • Thanks Jay,
I was listed for 23 months before the call but was involved in a number of support groups even before I was listed and found it to be a great help. Still have a king way to go to get to where I want to be but I am well on my way!
