I wish to connect with people who have gone through the same things I have. Being diagnosed with Kidney Disease at 19, I often felt lost. I am always interested in meeting new people and attaining new information on transplants and immunosuppressant medications.

Transplantation has greatly changed my life in many ways. It has for one given me a greater appreciation for life, created a stronger bond between me and my brother who was my donor, and most of all it has given me hope.

How are you doing Jennesa.. I haven't heard from you in a while... I am still battling the weight issue and my nephrologist said either I lose the weight or lose the kidney... made me nervous and irritated... I have been walking but I guess I will have to go back to the gym and take a lot of classes. My endocrinologist has been finding more and more things wrong with me but hopefully we will get them under control.. I am now diabetic, have osteoporosis, super low vitamin D, low vit B12 and low magnesium, high cholestrol, etc so I now I take 10 more pills!! Let me know how u r doing...

Hey Jenessa! I am actually doing ok. I went to see a hemotologist this past monday about me being so tired all the time, and my hemoglobin being so low, and they still aren't quite sure why. They have been giving me aranesp injections , and that has been a huge help to my hemoglobin and to my energy level, so i am feeling a bit better. I have to go next week to my transplant doctor to make sure everything is functioning well, which right now isn't the case. I actually think i have a urinary tract infection and last time it was treated it was resistant to two out of three oral drugs they gave me..... I'm not sure what they are going to do at this point...... How are you doing? I hope that you are doing well!

Great to hear all is well with you. After looking at your photo's it seems we have more in common than having a transplant, I see you like art. I also paint, mostly landscapes and seascapes. Do keep in contact.
