Share - which illness led up to you needing a transplant?
I went in for mitral valve repair to fix prolapse on 11/11/13, post-op my heart stopped working unexpectedly for no reason. I was transferred and had ECMO and BIVAD treatment and was sedated for about 3-4 weeks. They tried seeing if my heart would heal but I was put on the list Boxing Day. I had three false alarms before I received my transplant.

Received a new heart 10/01/2014
Drugs, vitamins, favorite foods
prograf, prednisolone, myfortic, aciclovir, gabapentin (for drop foot), domperidone, sertraline, lanzoprasole, septrin favourite food is PIZZA every time :) as I was on a breathing tubs so long I didn't eat normally for a long time. My first Dominoes pizza was one of the best meals of my life!
