  • Thank you Kidneyboy! I'm not totally sure how this forum works yet so I hope you get my response. I appreciate your appreciation! I also believe that the relationship is very important, that is why I joined this forum. I want to learn what we can do better, and how we can better prepare our patients for their new life. I'd love to hear everyone's feedback! In fact I'm actually asking for negative feedback- to help future patients. Since it is a very specialized role we have little research in the area, and transplant patients are the best source of information. Thank you and congratulations on your transplant! 

  • Welcome Tara to Transplant Friends!  I believe Tx coordinators are the most crucial members of the Tx team!  As the liaison between the medical staff and the patient, their efforts, especially in the first few weeks, have the greatest effect upon transplant success and patient confidence.
