How many years have you had your Transplant for?

My first transplant lasted from 1988 to 2003. I received my second transplant in December 2004 and here we are.

I am Interested in Transplant Friends because...

I don't know anybody else like me that I can talk and share with. I have been living with all this for more then half my life. Being chronically ill sometimes can be tough. Talking with people who know and understand is awesome. Commonality can often be comforting.

Which Transplant Center has or will perform your life saving surgery?

Vancouver General Hospital did both transplants.

Share how your transplant experience changed your life?

Transplants have given me life, when there was no life left.

Share whatever information you want us to know about you

I have an amazing life despite being chronically ill. It is full of people I love and who love me. I currently have a house full of people and pets and momentarily I couldn't be happier.

Share your interests and hobbies

My animals, two dogs and two cats. My garden, I love to grow stuff to eat and flowers. I love all the colour. I love sitting on my deck and watching the eagles hunt in the river and running my dogs in grasslands. I enjoy taking out my jeep and going for bush drives.
