  • Hello Vasanth,

Again congratulations on your Tx.  Your doctors must feel your father is in good enough health to donate a kidney and because on new discoveries and techniques, it is doubtful you will have any issues now or later on with the function of the kidney.  I have sent you a friend request so you may message me more directly to answer any other questions.

  • Hello Vasanth,

Welcome to TransplantFriends and congratulations on receiving your Tx!  There are many "do's and don'ts" in life with a Tx.  The most important I believe is staying hydrated, especially in hot weather.  Adequate hydration will keep Creatinine steady and "cure" many ills.  You will learn more from members here and the archives.  I wish you great success with your Tx and hope you enjoy many, many years in good health.
